Thanks to a project organised by Czech Broadcasting, lonely senior citizens once again had a happier Christmas.
The "Santa's Grandchildren" (Ježíškova vnoučata) group was established on Facebook in 2016 and one year later there was probably nobody who had not heard of it. And happily a significant number of parties joined in to grant the wishes of lonely elderly people. PRECIOSA ORNELA has also been one of these since November.
Every woman likes decorating. The shops offer many beautiful things, but stringing your own beads or making your own jewellery has its own magic. This was the wish of the ladies at the day care centre in Prague 7. Mrs Iva Velíšková was easily able to make their wish come true with some assistance from PRECIOSA ORNELA. PRECIOSA ORNELA presented them with beads and seed beads along with bases for stringing, bowls and brochures for inspiration and a number of other small gifts. The ladies were very pleased to receive them. And, despite working industriously together, they have yet to experience everything offered by bead production and other points of interest, which have warmed the hearts of the senior citizens. Santa's mission was accomplished.
