Czech seed beads shaped as a short cylinder are called PRECIOSA Two-Cut Beads (so-called PRECIOSA Two-Cuts or PRECIOSA 2cuts). They are produced by cutting glass tubes with a round hole and a hexagonal surface. These edges enable the seed beads to shine and highlight their appearance.
PRECIOSA Two-Cut Beads are produced in five basic sizes from 1.6 mm to 2.7 mm (in a zero series from 12/0 to 8/0) in transparent and opaque glass or with varied finishes.
Two-colored PRECIOSA Two-Cut Beads, so-called Harlequins, which combine two transparent colors, are an interesting variant of these exceptional seed beads. The Harlequin range includes five color combinations: amber-garnet, amber-aquamarine, amber-sapphire, green-garnet and topaz-crystal. The flawless sparkle of the Harlequins is further emphasised by their silver lining.
