PRECIOSA ORNELA has continued in its tradition of preparing and publishing calendars. The latest calendar for 2016 draws on the company’s many years of cooperation with regional costume jewelry companies, applied arts schools and significant designers who have contributed to the creation of the models and costume jewelry accessories made with beads and seed beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand for January’s Made in Jablonec fashion show.
Cover photo was designed to promote an exhibition of unique collection of diverse objects made of seed beads from the family collection of Bertrand Fried with name Infatuated with Beads, which is currently taking place at the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou. Colours of the cover photo are united with book of the exhibition. The book is available in five languages.
The electronical version of calendar with twelve pages will be the speciality of upcoming year 2016. You will find one of twelve photos every month on our website with short teaser which will bring you to the backstage of each photo of the calendar.
The author of the PRECIOSA ORNELA calendar for 2016 is the talented young photographer Marek Kubáček.
