Czech state flag

Pendant made from PRECIOSA Twin™ beads and PRECIOSA Rocailles

Preciosa Ornela presents a tutorial on how to make the Czech state flag using the beads and seed beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ range on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Czech Republic.

Thanks to the unique pressed, two-hole PRECIOSA Twin™ bead and the PRECIOSA Rocaille seed bead, it is relatively simple to create an attractive pedant which you can take with you on your travels as a talisman.

MATERIALS AND TOOLS

Materials and tools:

PRECIOSA Twin™ - 117 01 332; 2.5 x 5 mm

03000 - white (16x)

33050 - blue (10x)

93180 - red (19x)

PRECIOSA Rocailles - 311 19 001; 11/0

03050 - chalk white (3x)

33050 - blue (9x)

93170 - red (2x)

0.25 mm line; stringing needle; scissors; flat nose pliers; a 6 - 8 mm ring; a carabiner

PROCEDURE

The procedure:

Step 1:
Cut off about 40 cm of line and thread it onto the needle. Proceed according to the drawing. Take note of where the arrow, which indicates the beginning of the process, is located in the drawing. Leave at least 10 cm of line free at the end to sew in.

Step 2:
After assembling the flag, sew in both ends of the line and pull the knots into the holes of the nearest Twin.

Step 3:
Thread the metal ring through the loop made from blue rocailles and connect it with the carabiner.
