Earring hooks; 0.6 cm rings

Tools

A 0.20 mm line; a sewing needle; scissors; pliers

Procedure

Step 1

Cut off ca 80 cm of line. String 5x yellow R6 (fig. no. 1a) and tie them into a flower almost at the end of the line (line no. 1b). Thread the line around the stringing several times to strengthen the centre (fig. no. 1c).

Step 2

String 7x red R8, 1x red R6, 7x red R8 (fig. no. 2a) and thread the needle through two yellow rocailles in the opposite direction than the line started (fig. nos. 2b + 2c).

Step 3

String 7x red R8, 1x red R6 and 4x red R8 and thread the needle through three red rocailles in the finished petal (fig. no. 3a). Thread the needle through two yellow rocailles one more time (fig. no. 3b). Repeat this step 2 more times (fig. nos. 3c + 3d).

Step 4

Thread the needle through three red rocailles in the finished adjacent petal and string 4x red R8, 1x red R6 and 4x red R8 (fig. no. 4a). Thread the needle through three red rocailles and one yellow one (fig. no. 4b).

Step 5

You have now completed a flower (fig. no. 5a). Now sew the ends of the lines into the nearest seed beads and cut them off (fig. no. 5b).

Step 6

Repeat steps 1 to 5 one more time. Once you have completed both flowers, thread rings through the central red R6, add the earring hooks and close the rings. You have now completed the earrings (fig. nos. 6a + 6b).
