Sewn earrings using PRECIOSA Corolla seed beads

Earrings made using the PRECIOSA Corolla Super-Twisted seed bead will excellently supplement your summer wardrobe. At the same time, you will also be able to use them during the ball season.

The cross-section of the PRECIOSA Corolla Super-Twisted seed bead is shaped like a four-petalled flower. The dimples between the individual petals are colored and at the same time they rotate along the length of the seed bead. They therefore enable the excellent coloring of the used crystal glass and they highlight its sheen.

- earrings hooks; long eye pins (8 mm longer than the size of the used shape); 4 and 6 mm rings

- a 0.20 mm nylon line; a thin needle; scissors; needle nose pliers; flat nose pliers (for handling the rings)

PROCEDURE

Procedure:

The flat earrings

Step 1:
Cut off about 1 m of line. String 3x C. Thread the line through them one more time. Tie it off.

Step 2:
String 2x C. Thread the line through them one more time. Create the 1^st row at the point of the strung C.

Step 3:
Add the 2^nd row of C and surrounding R.

Step 4:
Add 2x R between the C in the 2^nd row. Add 1x C and 1x R from the 3^rd row.

Step 5:
Add 3x R between the C in the 3^rd row. Add 1x C and 1x R from the 3^rd row.

Step 6:
Add 1x C and 1x R from the 3^rd row.

Step 7:
Add 4x R between the C in the 4^th row. Add 1x C and 1x R from the 4^th row.

Step 8:
Start the second half. String 2x C and 2x R from the 5^th and 6^th rows.

Step 9:
Add 3x R between the 6^th row. Add 2x C and 1x R from the 5^th and 6^th rows.

Step 10:
String 1x C and 2x R from the 7^th row.

Step 11:
String 2x R and 1x C from the 7^th row.

Step 12:
String 2x C and 3x R from the 8^th row.

Step 13:
String 1x C and connect it with the C from the 8^th row.

Step 14:
Complete the earring. String 2x C and create the top triangle. Sew the line in.

Step 15:
Link a PB. The eye pin should be about 8 mm longer than the PB. Twist the protruding wire around the point of the pliers. Hang it on the top triangle using a 4 mm ring. Hang the loop of the earring hook on the opposite top triangle.

Step 16:
Sew the second earring.

The lantern earrings

This three-dimensional earring is sewn from three flat earrings. The outer C and R are common for the neighbouring flat earring. Do not thread the line through the C twice in the first step. Hang the earring hooks and the linked pears behind the top C using the 6 mm rings.
