Tools

Thin rings; earring hooks; a thin threading needle;
a 0.20 mm nylon line; scissors; flat nose pliers (the flattening of the start of the line, handling the ring)

Procedure

Step 1

The 1st point on the star:

String 3x F and tie off the ends of the line. Thread the line through the 1st F next to the knot one more time. String another 2x F. Thread the line through the 1st F next to the knot one more time. Further thread the line through an upper F (one of the two). String 1x F. Thread the line through both upper F and one bottom side F.

Step 2

The 2nd - 5th points on the star:

String 2x F. Thread the line through the bottom side F from the first point. Thread the line through the bottom of the two strung F. String 2x F. Thread the line through the bottom middle and top right F. String 1x F. Thread the line through both top F and one bottom side F. Repeat this a total of 4x.

Step 3

The 6th point on the star:

Proceed similarly to the procedure used to make the star's other points. This last point must be connected to the first point. String 2x F. Thread the line through the bottom side F from the previous point. Thread the line through the bottom F from two strung F. String 1x F. Thread the line through the outer bead of the first point from the top downwards. Thread the line through the bottom central F and the upper right F and then string 1x F. Thread the line through both upper F and the outer F from the 1st point.

Step 4

Sewing in:

Create a loop around the line between the F and thread the needle and line through it 2x and tighten it well. Pass the needle and the line through the next two F and pull it into their holes. Create another loop around the line. Now thread the loop through only one F and tighten. Thread the line through the next two F and tighten the line. If you emerge with the needle and line next to the start of the line (at the first point) after sewing up the star, you can tie off both ends with two knots and pull them into the holes of the nearest F.

Step 5

Completion:

Create two stars. Hang two hooks on the top F on the point using rings. You can hang the star on a cord and create a necklace, a mobile pendant or a lapel pin.
