Crocheted spiral bracelet made using PRECIOSA Drops

You can create a delicate spiral bracelet in trendy neon colors in combination with classic crocheting and a slip stitch.

crocheting yarn, a Big Eye needle or a stringing needle with a fine line eye, a 1 mm hook, scissors, metal parts

PROCEDURE

The procedure:

Step 1:
First string the seed beads onto the crocheting yarn in the following order: 18 R10 seed beads (only string them at the beginning and the end of the tube) 3x R10, 1x R8, 1x Drop and 1x R8 (repeat this group until you have 6 times the required length) and then string 18x R10 at the end again (fig. 1).

Step 2:
Create the basic loop. Keep it relatively large, you will later use it to connect the seed beads into a circle (fig. 2). Count off 6 seed beads and crochet a chain with the seed beads. Shift one seed bead as near as possible to the hook and then catch the yarn behind it and crochet the first loop with the seed bead. Repeat the procedure five more times and in doing so create 6 chain links with 6 seed beads (fig. 3).

Step 3:
Further thread the hook through the first basic loop and pull the yarn through both loops at once (fig. 4). Then poke the hook into the loop from the left of the first seed bead, twist the seed bead downwards and to the right, shift it as near as possible to the next seed bead, catch the yarn with the hook and crochet a slip stitch (pull the yarn through both loops at once). Add seed beads to the second row (fig. 5) and then crochet slip stitches with seed beads around in a spiral. If all the seed beads in all the rows have their holes twisted in the direction of the crocheting (upwards), you have proceeded correctly.

Step 4:
Add the first part of the fastening in this stage. Push an eye pin inside the tube (figs. 6-7), sew in the yarn. Crochet another five to ten rows and make an eye at the first end of the tube (fig. 8-9).

Step 5:
Continue crocheting until you have used all the seed beads, crochet the last row without any seed beads and cut off the yarn, leave about 15 cm of yarn free at the end. Push the second eye pin into the tube and use the remaininder of the yarn to sew the eye pin to the end of the tube. Hide the remainder of the yarn inside the tube. Form an eye (fig. 10). Attach any type of costume jewellery fastening and you are finished (fig.11).
