National Beading Week will take place in Great Britain for the first time.
The event is sponsored by the Beadworkers Guild, an organisation which supports art and craft work, and it will take place from 25th July to 2nd August 2015. The exhibition attracts bead and seed bead enthusiasts from all over the world and it provides them with an opportunity to pay tribute to the beadworking which they enjoy so much.
As well as the various competitions, the exhibition will also include creative workshops, one of which will be led by the well-known designer Kerrie Slade who will present four of her projects which have made use of Czech beads and seed beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand.
Visitors to the exhibition will also be able to acquaint themselves with a highly popular form of street art called "Bead bombing" where not only people, but also streets, bus stops, trees or anything around us are decorated with seed beads.
