Row 4 – 28 seed beads
Row 5 – 35 seed beads
Row 6 – 42 seed beads
Row 7 – 49 seed beads

Row 17 – 119 seed beads
Row 18 – 126 seed beads
Row 19 – 133 seed beads
Rows 20 - 22 – 140 seed beads

Step 2

Make 3 chain stitches without any seed beads (fig. no. 2a). Then double crochet 7 stitches onto the first stitch in the chain - this should form a circle (fig. no. 2b). Then continue double crocheting: Add one seed bead into each stitch and then double crochet the same place again without a seed bead (fig. nos. 2c - 2e).

Step 3

Continue with the second row: double crochet with a seed bead into the first stitch and then one with a seed bead and one without into the empty stitch – continue in the same way to the end of the row – you will have a total of 14 seed beads around (fig. no. 3a). In the next row, add another 7 seed beads – a total of 21 around (fig. no. 3b). Always add to the last empty stitch in the point, continue expanding the circle until you have 133 seed beads all around. In the 20th row, crochet into each stitch - only crochet once with a seed bead into the empty ones (do not add any empty stitches). Crochet the next two rows straight (fig. no. 3c).
You have now completed one half of the case. Repeat the procedure for the second half.
