Bracelet made of beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™

The floral theme is ever current. The small PRECIOSA Pip™ Pressed Beads lend themselves greatly to making various types of flowers. This time, we will use the stylised glass petals to create delicate violets for a simple-to-make delicate bracelet or ring.

Procedure

Step 1

The flower

String 3x P, 1x R10, 2x P and 1x R10 on the nylon line. Tie off the end of the line with three knots. Pull the ends of the line into the surrounding beads on both sides. Cut them off directly behind the beads.

Step 2

Linking

String 1x R8 and a finished flower onto an eye pin. Grasp the end of the eye pin between the points of the needle nose pliers. Twist eye pin around one point. Clamp the loop closed. If you have a longer eye pin, shorten it to about 14 mm before stringing the rocaille. You need 16x flowers for a ca 15 cm long bracelet. There will be 4 flowers in each shade (dark purple, light purple, mauve and yellow).

Step 3

Stringing

Carry out the stringing on doubled stretch bead cord. You can string it directly into the eye of a largish needle. Make sure that it goes through the holes in the R6. Alternately, string about 15 cm of thin tailor's thread into the eye of a thin needle. Tie off the ends of the thread. String the stretch bead cord or the hat elastic into the created loop. String 3x R6: the flower in the shade of your choice. Repeat this a total of 16x. Tie off the end of the stretch bead cord or the hat eleastic with three knots. Cut it off about 2 to 3 mm from the knot.

Step 4

The ring

You need 1 flower. String R6 onto the doubled stretch bead cord. The amount of R6 depends on the circumference of the finger. String the flower. Tie off the stretch bead cord with three knots and cut it off.
