To honor the memory of the Czech jewelry designer, Karolína Emingrová, we present a selection of her most successful designs with beads and seed beads from PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads ™ brand.
She was born in Prague and lived there ever since. She graduated from the School of Fashion and Film and TV Production at Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. She discovered beads in autumn 2010 and had not left them since. "It's a wonderfully relaxing craft and provides an escape from daily worries and concerns", she said.
Every new bead shape was a challenge for her. She loved challenges! She liked to combine colors and shapes with basic techniques. The result was always a bit different, sometimes surprising. She admired the craftsmanship and artistic techniques of past and present times. She drew inspiration from all around her, in town, in nature, while travelling and discovering new places... Beads were always with her.
She also ran workshops in Prague and Brno. Tutorials of her projects had been published in, for example, Korálki or Digital Beading Australia magazines. The jewelry created in collaboration with PRECIOSA ORNELA has been published in, for example, Bead and Button, Making Jewellery, Bead & Jewellery magazines.
