Czech seed beads in the shape of a drop, known as teardrops or drop beads (the Japanese version of this shape is known as Magatama Beads), are produced using the same technology as rocailles; unlike regular seed beads, however, they have an eccentrically placed hole. Farfalle
Czech Farfalle seed beads stand out due to their unusual shape which is reminiscent of a ribbon or a butterfly. The shape of Czech Farfalle beads has also inspired Japanese producers who offer similarly shaped beads under the name of Berry Beads (BB) or Peanut Beads. Farfalle seed beads began to be produced in 2005 in two sizes.

Two-cut beads
Czech seed beads in the shape of a short roller are called two-cut beads. They are produced using a similar technology to other seed beads. Two-cut beads are produced in five basic sizes. Two-coloured two-cut beads, so-called Harlequins, are another interesting type of these exceptional seed beads.
