Ca 30 mm eye pins; a thin chain (10 links – 1.9 cm); earring hooks

A 0.20 mm nylon line; a thin needle; scissors; needle-nosed pliers; snipping pliers

Procedure

Step 1

Prepare the materials for one earring. Mix the EP together in a pile. You can string any shade you want.

Step 2

Use the square stitch during sewing. String 1x EP and 1x R. Thread the line through the EP one more time. String 1x R and 1x EP. Thread the line through the R one more time. Continue stringing and connecting (an EP with an R or an R with an EP). Use a total of 8x EP and 8x R. Tie off the end of the line.

Step 3

Thread the line through the top EP nearest to the knot. Thread it through the top R and EP. End the threading in the same EP as you started. Tighten.

Step 4

String the next layer. Once again, use the square stitch. String 1x R to the EP. Thread the line through the EP one more time. Thread the line through the R between the EP. String 1x EP. Thread the line through the R again. Alternately add an EP and an R until you have added 4x EP and 4x R.

Step 5

Thread the line through the last added EP. Connect the EP and R from the last layer. Finish back in the last added EP. Tighten. Sew the line in. Create a loop in the line between the EP and R. Thread the line through it twice and tighten it. Thread the line through the R and the EP. It should be possible to pull the knot into the R. Thread the line through the R and the EP. Tie another knot, this time threaded through only once. Thread the line through several more R and EP. Cut it off.

Step 6

Prepare 1.5 cm of chain. String 1xs PB, 4x R, the tube of the "Windmill" and 1x PB onto an eye pin. Shorten the protruding wire to 1 cm. Grasp it between the points of the needle-nosed pliers. Twist it around the points. String a chain link before fully closing the eye. Attach an earring hook to the other end of the chain.
