Materials

Caps (14 x 14 mm); a large carabiner; a metal crimp bead (CB); 8 mm and 6 mm rings; a thin 5 mm ring

Tools

A regular 0.38 mm wire; a 0.20 mm nylon line; a thin needle; scissors; snipping pliers; flat-nose pliers (for handling the rings and the CB)

Procedure

Step 1

String 3x P onto the line. Thread the line through them one more time. Tighten it. Tie two knots. Pull the ends into the two holes and cut them off.

You need 24 cornets with three leaves.

Step 3

Cut off 50 cm of wire. String 1x CB, 1xs R8, 1x CB, 1x R8 and the cap through the dimpled side. Continue by stringing 8x R15. Return the wire to the cap. This will create a loop of R15. Also thread it through the R8 and the CB.

Step 4

Grip the CB close to the dimple using the flat-nosed pliers. Move it in as deeply into the dimple as possible and crimp it. Do the same with the second CB.

Step 5

String the cornet through the pointed end. Add 1x R10 and 1x R8 to it. Repeat this a total of 24x. Start stringing on the short and long ends of the wire. Then only work on the long end.

Step 6

Instead of the last R8, string 2x CB, 1x FPB, 3 more R8, a cap from the dimple and 8x R15. Return the wire to the cap. This will create a loop. Also thread it through the R8, FPB, CB, several cornets and the R10 and R8 between them.

Step 7

Cut off the wire. Crimp 2x CB. Hold the end of the wire. Cut off the protruding section.

Step 8

Make an adjusting chain from the 8 mm rings. String two rings onto the loop of R15 and close them. Connect two new rings to these two. Repeat this 6 more times (a total of 8x). Thread the thin 5 mm ring through the hole in the P and connect it to the outer rings.

Step 9

Attach the carabiner to the second loop of R15 using a 6 mm ring.
