Flexible bracelets made from the two-hole cabochon known as PRECIOSA Candy™

Preciosa Ornela presents a two-hole low cabochon with a round base with a diameter of 8 mm. Thanks to its shallow curvature, the lower section is highly suitable for use in embroidery and for use in combination with PRECIOSA seed beads and beads.

You can choose from an extensive range of surface finishes on the new PRECIOSA Candy™ two-hole bead. Arrange the low two-hole cabochons and add rocailles in suitable colors to create a suitable bracelet which is sure to become one of your favourites.

Flexible stringing material, a fine 0.18 mm nylon line; a thin stringing needle; scissors; memory wire; snipping pliers; needle nose pliers

Procedure

One row of PRECIOSA Candy™ - a two-row stringing

Step 1

You need 14x C and 112x R10 for a simple flexible bracelet at a standard length of 17.5 mm. Thread approximately 10 cm of the fine nylon line through the eye of the thin stringing needle and connect both ends with a knot. Thread the flexible stringing material (Opelon, Lycra...) through the loop made from the fine nylon line and start stringing 1x C, 4x R10, 1x C, 4x R10... String all the 14x C and 56x R10 in this manner. Straighten the seed beads and beads, tie off the stringing material using three strong knots which have been well tightened and cut off the ends with a 2-3 mm reserve.

Thread the line through the second hole in the C and add 4x R10 between each bead. Straighten the seed beads and beads, tie off the stringing material using three strong knots which have been tightened and cut off the ends with a 2-3 mm reserve.

Two rows of PRECIOSA Candy™ - an alternating stringing

Step 1

You need 40x C and 120x R10 or 80x R8 for the bracelet consisting of two rows of C with a longer length of 19 mm.

Start threading the line through the holes of 2x C, 3x R10, 2x C, 3x R10... according to the illustration. Only cut the flexible stringing material off the bobbin once all the beads and seed beads have been strung.

Step 2

Straighten the beads and seed beads and tie off both ends of the flexible stringing material using three strong knots and tighten it well. Cut off the ends with a 2-3 mm reserve.

Three rows of PRECIOSA Candy™ - a four-row stringing

Step 1

You need 42x C and 112x R10 for the flexible bracelet made of three rows of C at a standard length of 17.5 mm. Start stringing 1x C, 4x R10, 1x C, 4x R10... String all 14x C and 56x R10 in this manner as in the case of the bracelet consisting of a single row of C. Straighten the seed beads and beads, tie off the stringing material using three strong knots which have been well tightened and cut off the ends with a 2-3 mm reserve.

Step 2

Thread the line through the second holes of the C and add 1x C between each bead. String a total of 14x C. Straighten the beads, tie off the stringing material using three strong knots which have been well tightened and cut off the ends with a 2-3 mm reserve.

Repeat Step 2.

Proceed according to Step 1.

The variant on memory wire

It is also possible to string the beads and seed beads on memory wire in a similar manner as described in the three-row stringing of PRECIOSA Candy™ in the flexible stringing. Adapt the diameter of the wire and the length of the stringing according to your needs.
