Necklace made using PRECIOSA Hill™
Become acquainted with the new shape of the PRECIOSA Hill™ fire polished bead with a multiple cut and create an impressive necklace for the upcoming ball season according to this design by Michal Papež.
The precise cutting and brilliant shine of the fire polished beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ brand will no longer surprise anybody. The cut and fire polished PRECIOSA Hill™ bead has the shape of an original half-sphere, but for all that it is quite whole. It has been a great success. We do not call it a "half bead". It has proudly set off on its own path towards being used in bead work. It loves to join forces with the other beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ brand and their shapes fit together well.

0.25 mm nylon line; 2 cup tips; a carabiner; a 7 cm adjusting chain; a thin stringing needle; scissors; flat nose pliers (for flattening the beginning of the line before stringing)
The material necessary for the first step:
9x H8, 9x R10
In order to simplify the stringing of the necklace, begin the stringing from the central section due to the large consumption of the silicon line. Wind off approximately 1 m of the silicon line, but do not cut it off. String 1x H8 and 1x R10, move them approximately 1 m and thread the line back through the H8 and tighten them well. Repeat the entire step 8 more times and tighten the stringing.
The material necessary for the second step:
6x H8, 6x FPB4 and 6x R10
String a row of 1x FPB4, 1x H8 and 1x R10 onto the line, thread the line back through the H8 and FPB4 and tighten the stringing. Repeat the entire step 5 times.
The material necessary for the third step:
6x H8, 12x FPB4 and 6x R10
String a row of 2x FPB4, 1x H8 and 1xs R10 onto the line, thread the line back through the H8 and 2x FPB4 and tighten the stringing. Repeat the entire step 5 more times.
Steps 1, 2 and 3 are repeated as follows: repeat Step 2 6x, Step 1 6x, Step 2 6x, Step 3 6x, Step 2 6x, Step 1 6x, Step 2 6x, Step 3 6x, Step 2 6x and Step 1 9x.
String 1x H6 and 1x R10 and thread the line back through the H6 and tighten it well. Repeat the entire step another 49 times. Finish it off using the strung cup tip and one R10, thread the line back through the cup tip and sew the line in between the beads. Crimp the cup tip.
Cut off enough line from the bobbin and then repeat Step 5 another 50 times.
Finish both ends using the strung cup tip and a single R10. Thread the nylon line through the strung cup tip and sew the line in among the beads. Crimp the cup tip at one end and attach the carabiner on one end and the adjusting chain in the other.
