PRECIOSA ORNELA presents the second of five selected LIMITED COLLECTIONS
Admire with us the uniqueness of the glass work created by the designer Václav Hanuš.
Dr Petr Nový (*1973), the chief curator at the Museum of Glass and costume Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou, an external curator at the Kuzebauch Gallery in Prague and the Editor-in-Chief at the Glass-maker and Ceramicist (Sklář a keramik) specialist magazine, is involved in the study of both the history and the present of glass and costume jewellery.
Linked earrings with PRECIOSA Pip™
PRECIOSA Pip™ pressed beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ brand conforms to the current trend for mini beads with its dimensions of 5 x 7 mm. Its axially symmetrical flattened shape resembling a small pip enables the realisation of vacuum metallic half-coatings with the resulting effect of an all-over decoration.
The Jablonec 2017 International Triennial of Glass and Costume Jewellery Prize
PRECIOSA ORNELA's collection received a unique medal within the framework of the main exhibition of triennial project entitled TRENDS.DESIGN.PRODUCTION.
I was born in Prague and lived there ever since. I graduated from the School of Fashion and Film and TV Production at Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. I discovered beads in autumn 2010 and I have not left them since. It's a wonderfully relaxing craft and provides an escape from daily worries and concerns.
