Drops

Czech seed beads in the shape of a drop, known as teardrops or drop beads (the Japanese version of this shape is known as Magatama Beads), are produced using the same technology as PRECIOSA rocailles; unlike regular seed beads, however, they have an eccentrically placed hole. Their shape is therefore reminiscent of a drop.

We produce PRECIOSA drops in the three sizes of 2.9 mm, 4.6 mm and 6.1 mm (8/0, 5/0 and 2/0 in the zero series) and many surface finishing variants.

The PRECIOSA drop-extra is a special type of these interesting seed beads. It is only produced in the single size of 3.5 x 3.9 mm and it is exceptional because it has a plumper shape than the regular drops.
